In the last couple of years, Uwell, which has always been famous for its box mods and original tanks, has almost completely switched to the production of Pod-systems. And this is explained quite logically – this format of devices is the most popular among vapers, so the company pays a lot of attention to the development of devices that could meet the requirements of vapers. The most famous line of devices of this type in the company is Caliburn, which is not only made in the original design, but also can please with a good flavor transfer. Having decided to add to this series, the company released the next POD-system Uwell Caliburn AK3 Pod Kit, which has some pretty interesting “features”.
The design of Uwell Caliburn AK3 Pod Kit was not dramatically changed, leaving it the same as it was before – a neat square box with rounded corners and edges, decorated with the logos of the series and the company, as well as a stylish scattering of dots on the side panel. The case is made of aluminum alloy, so the device weighs only 35.8 grams. The device is small – 67.5 * 44.1 * 12 mm, so it will not get in the way in your pocket, and for ease of carrying it has a lug and is included with a lanyard that allows you to wear POD-system around your neck.

One of the features of the Caliburn A3 Refillable Pod is that it has a built-in 1.0 ohm Fehral mesh vaporizer, which can pleasantly surprise you with good flavor delivery. There is no airflow control, the draw is moderately tight. The cartridge filling is practical – it is not necessary to take it out of the battery pack, just remove the mouthpiece and pour 2 ml of liquid into the hole equipped with a check valve.
Conclusions and impressions
Naturally, the skeptics will say that Uwell Caliburn AK3 Pod Kit is not much different from the previously released versions, and to some extent they will be right. But Uwell company doesn’t claim that the new device is anything innovative, in fact – it is a slightly modified predecessor.
