The name of the company Rincoe is unlikely to seem familiar to the majority of modern vapers in the CIS countries. Meanwhile, the products of this manufacturer are quite popular in Western countries, as evidenced by the many photos flickering in one or another foreign Instagram-accounts with a decent number of followers. And, it should be said, Rincoe themselves do not complain about the lack of interest in their activities from the vape community. Today we are going to get acquainted with a curious kit called Manto X Mesh Kit, which was released about half a year ago and which definitely deserves attention, at least for its price.

The “kit” will arrive to the future owner in a bright and quite qualitative cardboard box with predominant yellow and black colors. At the first acquaintance with the device you are amazed by its impressive dimensions, while the dimensions of the more interesting part of the reviewed kit (mod) can be called one of the most modest on the market. But, about this a little later. The connector part of the tank immediately from the box “surprises” by the presence of many dots of unclear origin, similar to rust. Having worked a little absorbent cotton with alcohol, we managed to get rid of these contaminations, but, as they say, the residue remained. In addition to the just mentioned correctable shortcomings, here you can see the standard inscriptions about the manufacturer and the name of the tank, non-adjustable pin and a cutout under the tab on the AFC ring, which serves as a lock and does not allow the ring of airflow adjustment to rotate in a circle.

The Metis Mix Tank has a wide plastic drip tip with 810 oring, but the hole in the refill cap has another seal inside, so it fits perfectly with no-ring mouthpieces of the same format. For the first time taking the mod in your hands, you will be amazed by its dimensions. Thus, the height of the device is only 75mm, and the width and thickness are 40mm and 37mm respectively. Manto X is undoubtedly one of the most compact dual battery boxmods that can be found on the vaping market. Another distinctive feature of the device, which you also pay attention to at first acquaintance, is its “glossiness”. The manufacturer decided to use zinc alloy as a manufacturing material, coating it with hot-drying lacquer over the paint. This is also where all the ensuing moments come from: collection of fingerprints, constant patching of the surface. As for the controls, there is a fairly standard picture as for modern mods. On the front side under the plastic hides a monochrome display, bordered by the same plastic buttons Fire and “plus”/“minus”. The micro USB port for charging is in its usual place.
Impressions and conclusions
Admittedly, I was not particularly excited about the Manto X Mesh Kit. Neither did it cause disappointment. It’s quite a good “kit” for beginners or for people who don’t want to spend a lot of money on devices (the price is a bit lower). If we take apart today’s patient individually, we can’t say anything drastically negative or positive about the Metis Mix Tank. It is large, capacious, capable of producing huge clouds of vapor. This is all secondary. But Manto X boxmod is much more interesting, although its design and body shape are not too unique either. Since we have touched upon ergonomics, the mod is definitely successful from this point of view. Very compact, with a large and nice Fire button, it fits perfectly in an average hand. As for performance, it is similarly very standard: convenient and simple menu, well thought-out control, well working board. Today, by and large, all Chinese boxmods work adequately, so Rincoe’s brainchild doesn’t grab stars from the sky, but it doesn’t hit the dirt.
If you look for negative aspects of the “kit”, you can easily find some very annoying features from the start. So, the complete tank, as was seen in the photo earlier, comes, to put it mildly, in not very clean condition. But that’s half the trouble. Another problem of the Cliric is only one vaporizer in the kit. And if it is defective? A spare replacement vaporizer, no matter how you look at it, but there should be, Rincoe. The problems of the boxmod are not so obvious. It is impossible not to mention the very “glossiness”, which contributes to the instant loss of the presentable appearance of the device by collecting fingerprints. In addition, if Manto X is handled carelessly, the lacquered surface will be abundantly covered with small scratches. The same problem, only in a slightly different way, is also waiting for us on the connector pad. And in general, the device feels fragile and unreliable. Although, taking into account, again, the price, then everything is not so unambiguous here.
