Review of CAPELLA from INTRUE Lab

The company that produces these flavors is called Capella and it comes from the USA. The manufacturer is one of the world leaders in the production of flavorings, but only in the food direction, respectively, they have no tobacco flavors, but all sorts of fruits, drinks, baked goods and confectionery – in bulk.

Capella packaging from INTRUE Lab

In the USA Capella flavorings are packed in minimal containers with the volume of 13 milliliters, and in our country they are packed in the more usual format of 10 milliliters, accordingly, they are poured into such bottles. Each bottle is additionally packed in cardboard boxes with a lot of useful and not so useful information on the side edges. On the box there is, perhaps, everything except the recommended concentration in the “finished product”.

Capella flavorings from INTRUE Lab – bottles

Coming back to the containers, the bottles are made of dark plastic, moderately rigid and comfortable, with a thin spout, ideal for dosing with drops. australian vape shop brisbane There is no protection against opening by children, as well as control of the first opening.

All flavors were mixed with a base with nicotine 3 milligrams per milliliter at a concentration of 1 drop per 1 milliliter and infused for about a week.

Gingerbread

From the bottle it smells like honey gingerbread, quite pungent, with a noticeable aroma of ginger and echoes of licorice root. During vaping, the aroma becomes a bit softer, the amount of ginger decreases, and the honey note comes to the forefront, almost blocking the flavor of the gingerbread itself. The flavor on the inhale is dry, and with a deep puff it turns to honey-sweet. On the exhale, the gingerbread opens up, spicy and with a tingling sensation of ginger in the aftertaste. It is quite hard to vaporize this liquid daily in its pure form, it gets bored quickly and it is better to use it in mixes.

Double Watermelon

From the bottle smells anything but watermelon, it is more like something berry and creamy. During vaping, the vapor even loses all flavor and becomes hollow. I didn’t catch the bright watermelon flavor here either, there is something remotely similar to the crusts, but unfortunately there is neither sweetness nor juiciness. As the concentration increases, in addition to the crust, seeds and bitterness appear. In pure form the liquid on this flavoring is practically not vaporizable and is suitable only for adding to mixes.

Blueberries

And here the smell from the bottle and during vaping is just excellent, not very strong, but similar to a real berry. The blueberry flavor is clearly felt, along with a moderate sweetness and a characteristic slightly dry flavor. On the exhale, and especially in the aftertaste, it is hardly distinguishable from the real one, except that sometimes it seems that together with blueberries there are a few drops of flavoring with the taste of sour jelly candies in the mixture. As a result, this flavor will be good for both mixes and vaping solo.

New York Cheesecake

The smell from the bottle is not so much a classic cheesecake, but a puff pastry cake with apple filling. During steaming the smell changes dramatically, it acquires cottage cheese shades and a cheesy note. The flavor on the inhale is just sweet and barely milky, but with a deep puff it slowly begins to reveal the very dessert, the flavor of which is maximally revealed during the exhale, filled with slightly bitter cottage cheese and a light cheese note. In the aftertaste, suddenly vanilla, light milk sweetness and something tart but pleasant begin to be felt. In general, the liquids on the flavoring “Cheesecake New York” can be called self-sufficient and can be vaporized directly like this, but it is better to add a couple of drops of lemon, a couple of drops of berries to your taste and get even more pleasant in all respects mix.

Vanilla custard

From the bottle the finished and infused liquid smells barely noticeable, it is impossible to make out the cream in this aroma, it is more like echoes of boiled condensed milk. And during vaporization nothing changes. There is no flavor on the inhale and deep puff, but on the exhale you get an “explosion” of sensations and a long creamy aftertaste. When increasing the concentration of flavoring twice (2 drops per 1 milliliter of base), the flavor balance (but not the smell) is restored and you get a mouthful of vanilla in cream on the inhale, but on the exhale it even becomes a bit too much. Steaming “Custard” in its pure form is a hobby for amateurs, still, in my opinion, the place of this flavoring is exclusively in mixes, it is there that it will be able to reveal and show itself to the maximum.

General impressions

Out of five tested flavorings only “Double Watermelon” disappointed me, it is not double at all, but rather half-full. But the others were quite pleasant, and blueberry is so great in general. Naturally, your opinion may be fundamentally different from mine, too much depends on the concentration, the quality of the base itself, the amount of nicotine, the vaporizer on which you will do your own tests, and your personal preferences. But nevertheless, flavorings are quite worthy to take a permanent place in your favorite “mixes”.
