In addition to a pile of papers and a box mod with an adapter for 18650 batteries hidden inside, the box contained a nice blue noodle cable for charging and flashing the board, as well as a small bag with a hex key and two screws. The first thing worth mentioning is the pretty decent dimensions of the device, especially in height. Refilling the Topside Squonk ModThere are no complaints about the Topside Squonk, neither about the work, nor about the quality of assembly or paint, nor about individual elements and their design. And the plastic box in which the device arrives generally deserves special praise. If it did not stink like a burnt tire, it would be just wonderful. The bottle cap has a rather “prickly” knurling, which quickly gets clogged with dirt, but on the walls of the case, fingerprints and liquid streaks are almost invisible, but on the same cap and the upper part of the mod, which are more glossy, dirt is much more noticeable. There are no complaints about the operation of the liquid supply and the connection system with the bottle, everything is hermetically connected and tightly closed, through the connector under the drip tip, the liquid also does not leak. Even the spare bottle closes perfectly: I poured water into it, closed it, turned it upside down and left it standing, nothing leaked. The main thing is not to press on the silicone. The shape of the case, according to personal feelings, turned out to be quite comfortable, the box, of course, does not “grow into the hand”, but does not cause any discomfort. And in general, the device looks more like some Dicodes Dani than a product of the Chinese industry. And, of course, I would like to mention once again the system of simple and, most importantly, convenient filling of the can: unscrew the cap, pour in ten milliliters (measured!), plug and screw it on. Having figured out that users would probably want something more powerful and longer-lasting, Dovpo did not think for long and released the Topside Dual, an almost exact copy, but powered by two batteries of a more familiar format. So if you suddenly feel sad that the single-battery option does not suit you, take a closer look at it. The first version of the Topside is perfect for using small drippers with a single coil, here you will have both the capacity of the can and the 21700 battery for a long time, and the taste will be decent. At the same time, it won’t be a problem to support resistance “only” from 0.08 Ohm, although this is already a good reserve. I almost immediately made friends with the device with the little Pixie RDA, the combination turned out great: tasty, long-lasting, only a bit big because of the mod.
