Review of Hellvape Destiny RTA

Despite the fact that the vape market is flooded with POD-systems and their derivatives, many vapers are in no hurry to switch to them, preferring the traditional drips and tanks. Exactly for them producers are trying to release something new and interesting. Well-known company Hellvape decided once again to please vapers with a new product Destiny RTA, which was created in collaboration with no less famous reviewer/blogger/developer from Moldova Alex from VapersMD. The name of the new tank is not accidental, as Destiny shooter is one of Alex’s favorite games. But the fact remains that the joint product of this collaboration will definitely interest many vapers who prefer single-spiral flavor devices with the original design. Although there are a few issues with this atomizer, but they are not so critical, as the positives will be more.

General Info

Hellvape Destiny RTA tankomizer designed for single coil installation, with the original side blowing for good flavor and bulk, with a good package and original design. Externally, the new tank looks quite traditional, but the manufacturer offers several non-standard design options, so the vaper will be able to choose the best option for him. australian vape shop sydney The atomizer is designed for horizontal installation of one coil with vertical fixation by two screws. The Kit is very pleasantly surprising, as in the box the vaper will be able to find everything he needs for trouble-free use of the tank. In the orange box with a transparent window the vaper will find:

Destiny RTA atomizer;

Spare 4 ml bubble glass;

Adapter for 510’s drip tip use;

Appearance and design

Recently, there is an interesting trend that vapers prefer atomizers made in a laconic classic style. Hellvape Destiny RTA is made in this very spirit like nothing extra, but it looks good and interesting. The style of the tank is such that it will look good on most box mods, but with the right one of the five executions. If we talk about the executions, Alex together with the designers of the company worked on the glory of the execution is varied and original, as you can find a combination of metal-glass, metal-plastic, metal-ultem.

The diameter of Hellvape Destiny RTA is 24 mm, so there is no question about the fit on the box mod. Quite an interesting solution is the Kit tank 810th drip-tip of the original design with two O-rings. But if you believe Alex, the design of the top cap is such that you can use traditional non-rinching 810-typefaces.

Initially the tank is equipped with a 2 ml straight glass, but you can find a 4 ml bubble-glass in the kit. Depending on the package, the flasks can be not just glass, but also plastic and Ulteme.

Case, airflow and usage features

Alex from VapersMD is an expert in single-spiral tanks design, just remember Berserker. So it’s no surprise that the Hellvape Destiny RTA is also a single-helix tank, and with a rather original deck design.

The base of Hellvape Destiny RTA is two-column, with the racks shifted to the edge. And one of the racks is wide enough, but it’s understandable because it has one of the blowing holes. It’s worth to say that in the stand the holes for the coil stems are slightly angled, and this can be explained by very simple installation of the coil, and after installation you just need to bend the coil down. The fixing of the helix is horizontal with two slotted screws, the holes for which are slightly angled.

There will be no problems with laying the absorbent cotton, as the deck is provided with large enough holes. It is important not to overdo with the amount of absorbent cotton, otherwise you can not avoid starvation of the coil.

Hellvape Destiny RTA is quite interesting in blowing. It is lateral and the blowing channels are specially brought out over the deck – one of them is placed in the rack, and the second one is opposite to the rack. This approach is interesting because the air from both sides blows the maximum area of the coil, providing maximum flavor transfer.

The air intake is made from the bottom, through two rather large holes. There is an adjustment ring with a fine notch, which is very convenient.

It is worth paying tribute to the developers, who made a traditional top refill with a cap that can be opened in a half-turn. After refilling, you have to press the cap a little and turn it slightly.

Conclusions and impressions

Destiny RTA is another successful product from Hellvape and Alex, and a really successful one as many vapers would love to use a single-spiral tank where you can use fat coils. It is worth paying tribute to the developers, who provided a convenient installation of the coil at an inclination, the original blowing and quite a good volume.
