Review of Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo RTA

Over the last few years, vape manufacturers have turned their production to the production of PODs and sub-mods, which are in particular demand among vapers. Such a decision is very easy to explain everyone wants to stay afloat, so they produce devices that are in demand. But not all companies succumbed to the excitement POD-systems and submods, there are still manufacturers who are not giving up so easily, and one of them is Hellvape. The company became particularly known after the release of the Dead Rabbit drip, which is rightly considered legendary, but there is a tank Fat Rabbit in the arsenal of the company. We can not say that this tank was a hit of sales, as vapers had a lot of complaints to it, so the developers decided to modify it and released Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo RTA.

General Info

Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo RTA atomizer designed for installation of one coil, with side, bottom and combined blowing for maximum flavor and bulk. The tank looks quite massive due to its design, but it is moderately austere and stylish, almost without decor, except for the logo on the base of the atomizer. The tank is designed for installation of one coil, wound in any direction. Of particular interest is the blowing system, depending on the preferences of the vaper you can choose one of three options bottom, side or both types simultaneously. You can buy the Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo RTA in seven colors of steel, matte black, all black, gunmetal, gold, rainbow and blue.

Kit

Hellvape has always bundled their tanks and vapes very decently, and the new device is no exception. In the traditional orange box the vaper will find:

Fat Rabbit Solo RTA 4.5 ml atomizer;

Replacement bubble-glass 5.5 ml;

Pre-wound 0.37 ohm nichrome coil;

Cotton;

Coil Cutting tool for trimming coil stems;

Screwdriver;

Replacement screws;

Replacement O-rings;

User’s Manual.

Appearance and design

Many vapers associate Hellvape company with the legendary (here it is unlikely that anyone will argue) drip Dead Rabbit, which has already been released in the third generation, but not everyone knows that this manufacturer produces no less interesting tanks. Not so long ago the company presented Hellvape Fat Rabbit RTA, one of the key remarks from vapers to which was about its diameter of 28 mm does not look logical on all box mods. Having decided to correct this misunderstanding, the company’s developers made the Fat Rabbit Slightly slimmed down to 25 mm and called it Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo RTA.

Immediately we can say that the Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo RTA looks quite massive, as its base is made of metal and has a special blowing design, but about it later. At the same time the tank is quite austere and without much decoration, except for the brand logo on the base of the tank. The diameter of the atomizer is 25 mm, so it will look quite logically on most box mods.

Depending on the vaper’s preference, you can use either a 4.5 ml straight glass or a 5.5 ml bubble glass. The tank uses a traditional 810th non-drinking drip-tip, but the manufacturer decided to complete it with a more original model, which design has a rim that prevents condensate from getting into the vaper’s mouth.

Case, airflow and usage features

One of the main differences Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo RTA from the previously released version besides the reduced diameter is the use of one coil. It has a four-hole standalone base with four holes for coil legs so you can use coils coiled in any direction. The coil is installed vertically, and its legs are fastened with horizontally placed slotted screws.

For laying the wool there are deep enough wells with stoppers.

Similar to the previous version, the Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo RTA has an original blowing system. It has two blowing rings, with which you can set only the bottom, only the side and both blowing of the coil at the same time. This solution is interesting because the vaper will be able to choose the best vaporizing option depending on his preferences.

The top tank cap is held in place by a bayonet-type mount, so in order to gain access to the filler holes, you need to rotate the cap 90 degrees.

After removing the cap you can easily pour 4.5 or 5.5 ml of liquid into the tank depending on the type of glass installed.

Conclusions and impressions

The developers of Hellvape when developing the Fat Rabbit Solo RTA, alas, did not come up with anything more original than reducing the size of the base and diameter, leaving the construction the same as that of the two-spiral version. But in this case the vaper gets a practical, easy to use and maintain tank that will please you with its versatility and good flavor delivery.
